Orders, Pricing, and Payment

Retail Orders

  • All prices listed on the website are in the currency shown at checkout and are subject to change without notice.

  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment and receipt of a confirmation from us.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability.

Bulk / Contract Manufacturing Orders

  • Bulk orders (LCL/FCL container quantities), annual tonnage reservations, and contract manufacturing arrangements are subject to separate quotations, purchase agreements, and payment terms agreed upon directly with our trade desk.

  • Submitting an inquiry through our website (business name, email, phone, requirement details) does not constitute a binding order. A formal agreement, proforma invoice, or purchase order must be executed before any trade obligation arises.

  • Pricing for bulk/export orders may vary based on quantity, packaging (vacuum pouches, nitrogen-flushed liners, export drums), destination port, and prevailing freight/logistics costs at the time of contracting.

Shipping, Export, and Logistics

  • We coordinate export logistics including phytosanitary certification, port routing, and container loading (LCL/FCL) for international trade clients.

  • Delivery timelines communicated on the website or in correspondence are estimates only and may be affected by customs clearance, port congestion, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

  • All applicable customs duties, import taxes, and destination-country compliance requirements are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Risk of loss and title to goods transfer in accordance with the shipping terms (e.g., FOB, CIF) specified in the applicable sales agreement or invoice.

Quality, Compliance, and Certifications

  • Our black garlic is processed using proprietary Moisture-Assisted Dehydration (MAD) technology and is screened for moisture content, heavy metals, and overall batch stability.

  • Products are Non-GMO and produced without radiation treatment, in line with the standards stated on our website.

  • SGS testing and phytosanitary verification documentation are available upon request for trade and bulk clients.

  • Any quality claims or disputes regarding a specific shipment must be raised in writing within the timeframe specified in the relevant sales agreement, accompanied by supporting evidence (e.g., photographs, third-party lab reports).

Cancellations, Returns, and Refunds

Retail orders: Cancellation, return, and refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at info@tholua.com within a reasonable time of receiving your order if there is a quality issue or discrepancy.

Bulk/export orders: Cancellation, return, and refund terms are governed by the specific purchase agreement or contract executed between the parties, and not by these general Terms.

Due to the perishable and food-grade nature of our products, we do not accept returns of opened or used products unless the product is found to be defective or non-conforming to agreed specifications.
